The 21.1km Capilano Honey Shotz Run Leg (half marathon) is set entirely within the Mercure Capricorn Resort Yeppoon grounds.

The three-lap course is near totally flat and traverses the Mercure Capricorn Resort grounds before finishing within the Resort swimming pools and recreation area. The course incorporates hard and soft surface running and is set to enjoy as much shade, courtesy of the coastal scrublands, as can be made.

The run has been judged one of the best Ironman 70.3 runs in Australia and we thank the resort staff who maintain the tracks and trails year round for our enjoyment in mid-August.

Those competitors not completing the course will be DQ’d so don’t take short cuts!
